Writing: Latino Gang Graffiti in Los Angeles
Cholo writing is the style of graffiti used by Mexican gangs in Los Angeles. Unlike its bulbous comic counterpart on the East Coast, Cholo has roots in curiously formal calligraphic and black letter traditions.

Estria's Graffiti, Murals & Art Shows: Tempt One Creates Art with ONLY His Eyes
This story is one of the amazing realities that has come about in our culture of graffiti/hip hop. This person, an amazing human being, known in my world as Tempt One has been through a great deal, but is here to discuss his ailment and his art, which now go hand in hand.

Judge tags ‘Utah’ graffiti woman with six months « WHATYOUWRITE.COM
Sucks about the jail time, but this girl is definitely down as fuck. I checked out some of her graff and shes basically a bomber - WHICH I TOTALLY RESPECT! She goes on a Euro tour and when she gets back, BAM!, busted on some graff charges. Read the story and spread the fame. For doing time on a graff bid, you gotta get some fame. So blast this!

The Hip-Hop Chess Federation Blog
I came across this blog just by browsing around for some Hip-Hop news. It's amazing in that it combines Hip-Hop, chess and martial arts into a blog and spreads positive vibes by showing the fusion in these aspects of life. To me Hip-Hop, chess and martial arts are needs for the youth. Yup, I was in chess club in junior high, what?!?

Another Sactown art walk-or-A continuation of this weeks Art walks! from Grey Matter on Vimeo.
I really enjoy taking these walks. I go out with my camera and just shoot the craziest, coolest and sometimes scariest things I see out and around town. I do not get too far, because I like the quality that comes out of Midtown. My favorite Sacramento area. So, I will also be shooting some skaters and creating actual skate videos instead of just slideshows...but I love slideshows with music, so those will keep coming.
